They host 4 triathlon races every year in Huangshan, Shanghai, Beijing, Dongguan, including Incredible Kids competitions.
To quote thier site:
After being gradually recognized by the public, in 1987 , there was the first triathlon in China. In 2000 , Tiesan was included in the Olympic Games. 2016 years, we have in the country to build a triathlon event as the main body, supplemented by an annual multi-peripheral multi-station comprehensive sports events, we call him - Xuantie series
" Xuan " : magical and vast, contains a lot of incredible energy; " Xuantie " : the ultimate spirit of triathlon - challenge the limit, transcend the self, symbolizes the most invincible power, the most extraordinary life, Xuan Tiebai Lian extraordinary cast ( Incredible you, incrediblelife ).
We gather the heroes of iron and steel at home and abroad, arrive at China's magnificent mountains and rivers, accept challenges and complete challenges, and believe that Bailian Xuantie can finally cast extraordinary.
In 2017, we divided the Xuan Tie series into two major sections – the most beautiful, most masochistic and the most breakthrough super black iron around the landscape; and the city’s Xuantie, which advocates more people to participate in the city center.
This year's first stop Super Xuantie was established in the world's first Qishan - Huangshan, swimming 1.9KM, riding 90KM, running 21KM, the whole process 113KM, including the Taiping Lake swimming stage and the 4A-5A scenic cycling stage In the 1.6KM light off-road running stage, the beauty of Huangshan Mountain is at your feet.
How about, dare to fight? But this is just the beginning. Huangshan, Zhengzhou, Beijing, Shanghai – four stations throughout the year, around the Yangtze River, the Great Wall, Huangshan, and the Yellow River – show the great mountains and rivers of China.

Sanfo Triathlon Series
The Sanfo Triathlon series in China is a natural development of Beijing Sanfo Outdoor Products Co, Ltd’s guiding philosophies of commitment to sports, happiness and living the dream.
Living the dream is something Zhang Heng the founder of Sanfo knows a lot about. His dream started in 1997 backpacking in western China. That same year he founded his first outdoor sports retail store next to Beijing University and since then has opened 30 sports stores in 12 of China’s biggest cities. They sponsor a huge range of outdoor sports activities and competitions including camping, hiking, mountaineering, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, football, and triathlon. Sanfo Triathlon series started in 1999 and as far as I know only sponsors one triathlon a year (Jinghaihu), but seems to assist in some others. http://en.sanfo.com/ "Sanfo, the Chinese sporting goods store, puts on a series of races, including a series out of Shanghai with five events that all attract around 800 athletes or so." https://www.triathlete.com/2019/04/lifestyle/triathlon-in-china-growing-pains-and-big-potential_373457 |
Web-host Note: Last year’s (2018) 19th International Sanfo Jinhai Lake Triathlon June 3rd had a couple of new features, at least for me. First I was really happy that that race start order was organized by the athletes predicted swim time. This has a great advantage in that slower swimmers don’t get passed by hordes of faster swimmers starting after them in other age and gender divisions. Sports are and should be organized by skill levels, not age or gender. I really liked this year’s race start organization because not being the fastest swimmer around I’ve had it happen that other divisions that start after my age group come flying past me like turbo-charged motor boats which can be a bit disconcerting...
Talking with other athletes at this year’s competition I found out that having two transition areas as compared to the traditional one only, isn’t entirely new, but it was for me and I have to say it came off smooth as clockwork.
Another great feature of the Sanfo Triathlon series is that high quality race photos and a race certificate are all available via their app later the same day as the competition, for only about $15 or so, which is much faster and cheaper than other triathlons I’ve competed in.

Note: I'm still a relative novice at Triathlon and readers are welcome to correct errors, and/or add their Leagues, Associations, etc. to this list. Any errors here are mine. One reason I put together sites is to try to figure out for myself how things are organized. Any and all help is appreciated.
